His role as CEO of the Slattery Media Group is the culmination in a long career in media (with a brief diversion into restaurants) for Geoff Slattery. "Our business is about providing the best media and communications solutions for our clients, whether it's via a book, magazine, newspaper, App, website, or combination of all of the above. Media continues to evolve but it will always revolve around the most simple presentation of the truth."

Marlo brings years of experience in marketing, business management and publishing (along with her love of print) to the Slattery Media Group. She also loves Collingwood FC, cycling and coffee (as long as it is emasculated with almond milk, but not soy). She will do what it takes to get your job done on time and on budget.

Chris Downey once thought he’d be a marine biologist—he was certain of it. That was until he fell in love with design. Print is where his heart is. The feel of the textured pages in between his fingers, the smell of the ink on the page—you will never see his head in a kindle or tablet, preferring the weight of a true crime or famous rock star autobiography in his hand on the daily commute to and from the big city.

Publications, Branding and Digital Design are his passion and he thrives on giving clients the experience and results they deserve.

After 40 years writing and sub-editing for newspapers—the final 20 on The Sunday Age and The Age concentrating on sport, especially racing—Stephen Howell joined the Slattery Media Group as a racing editor and writer in 2008. He edited The Story of the Melbourne Cup, Australia’s Greatest Race, published to coincide with the 150th Cup in 2010, and since late that year has edited and written for Inside Racing, Racing Victoria’s monthly magazine.

Danny Power has been a journalist in the racing industry for more than 40 years, including stints at The Sporting Globe, The Herald, Herald Sun, Truth and The Australian. He also has worked as a racing manager for leading trainer Lee Freedman and a bloodstock consultant. Danny has been with the Slattery Media Group for nine years, during which time his credits include the books The Modern Melbourne Cup (author), Racing In Australia (editor) and The Story of the Melbourne Cup (writer). He is a contributing editor and writer for Inside Racing magazine, and editor of Inside Breeding. Danny is the brains behind the renowned Twitter account @thethoroughbred
